New AirMail

In the latest AirMail*, we are taking a special look at China to showcase a number of recent and ongoing projects for customers in the Middle Kingdom.

China constitutes a significant growth market and manufacturing hub for Camfil. You can read about clean air solutions for Shanghai Disneyland (high-efficiency filters for air handling systems); Nanjing Panda (airborne molecular contamination control); Beijing Energy (inlet air filtration for Siemens gas turbines); Novo Nordisk (cleanroom filtration for an insulin filling line), and Yunnan Plant Pharmaceutical (HEPA filtration for a biopharma cleanroom).

From the Western World, you can learn more about filter certification systems in the latest Filter School module. We also explain Eurovent Certita’s new energy classification system for air filters and describe the new Opakfil ES™, a filter rated A+ for the lowest energy consumption.

We also report on the latest air filtration recommendations for British schools and hospitals and describe a number of clean air solutions for customers.

The latter include two articles from Germany describing a customised CamCleaner for improving IAQ at Germanisches Nationalmuseum, and a Micro Filter line from Camfil Handte APC to control dust from Daimler’s milling operations. In the U.S., we take you to Texas, where Camfil Power Systems has retrofitted an existing pulse filter system for ENGIE Energy’s Alstom gas turbines by modifying it into a static barrier-type filter system that uses our premium CamGT 3V-600 series.

Finally, don’t miss this issue’s portrait feature on Camfil CEO Magnus Yngen, who tells us about Camfil’s new intensified customer focus and his favourite hobby – recreational diving.
